I rescued a GSD at 8.5yo and he was very isolated and had a rough life before the rescue. I came from having my service dog just pass months before to a dog that just needed love and direction. Once I engaged with Beth and she was able to bring Tahoe under her wing for training, he became night and day difference. His skills and manners are exceptional now. Beth is world class when it comes to her profession and one of the nicest persons I could have entrusted my best friend with. I researched several places and Beth was the only one that guaranteed her work. I had a rescue 2 year old that was not potty trained and would dart out any outside door when he could. I had 3 lessons with Beth. She is truly amazing and a dog whisperer. We had him trained within a week on the potty training. She then helped me with other things to work with him on including not darting out an outside door. I would recommend her 100%. She gave me so many tips on working with him. Like most JRTs, Sal came with intense energy — puppy nipping and mouthing, lack of focus, leash chaos, and general terrier mayhem.From the moment Beth walked through the door, everything changed.Her voice is calm yet confidently assertive, and the instant connection she made with Sal was something I’ve honestly never witnessed before. It was visual, intuitive, and immediate. Her ability to read puppy language — especially breed-specific Jack Russell cues — is almost inexplicable. You can see her communicate with a dog through her look, tone, timing, and mannerisms alone. It’s remarkable.Over just six weeks (one weekly session), the results were nothing short of miraculous. Sal learned sit, wait, come, stay, down, and — the jaw-dropping moment for us — food impulse control. We can now put his bowl down and he waits intently for the “take it” command. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have never seen a literal puppy learn with this level of clarity and consistency.Beth doesn’t just train dogs — she teaches people. She explained puppy behavior in a way that finally made sense, gave us clear homework after each session, emphasized consistency, and built our confidence to an all-time high. She even encouraged us to record sessions so we could rewatch and reinforce everything on our own, which was invaluable. She taught us how to correct each other so the training stayed consistent at all times — something I didn’t realize was so critical until she showed us.For anyone worried about harsh methods or abuse: this could not be further from the truth. We met Beth at an HEB while we were carrying our new pup, and she handed us a card saying, “You need this.” At the time, we had an extremely excited and humongous puppy on our hands. The “good dog lady” quickly became our baby’s favorite person. She is incredibly kindhearted and genuinely cares for everyone she works with.Beth makes sure to review each trick thoroughly and has both my husband and me practice so we are always on the same page. She helped us redirect our dog’s energy and taught us how to interact with her properly, because training truly goes both ways. We learned how to communicate with our dog so she could learn how to communicate with us.Our Yuffie has gone from a complete tug walker to a well behaved and obedient dog. She now responds quickly to our commands and shows impressive restraint when we are out in public.We later ran into a major issue with our dog’s food allergies, to the point where we were texting Beth at all hours of the day. She was always prompt in responding and showed genuine concern and commitment to our dog.Yuffie was reacting negatively to every protein we tried. Beth truly helped ease our concerns by offering so much thoughtful advice, and we were able to transition Yuffie to a salmon based diet. At one point she was losing a significant amount of weight, and Beth helped us work through everything so we could prevent her growth from being stunted.Our sessions are extremely informative, and we feel so blessed knowing our dog is in such good hands. Beth is amazing! My wife and I were struggling with our recently adopted pup (lots of energy, barking, keeping us awake, etc.) and within a couple of sessions Beth fixed it all! Her techniques are all positive and encourage a close, loving relationship with your dog - never using negative corrections or fear. She's very easy to work with and adapts the training to your specific needs, ensuring you get the most value out of the lessons. After her private lessons, we started boarding with her as well and that's been fantastic. She's cheaper than the large daycares, the dogs have consistent access to a huge outdoor space, and she keeps you updated with pictures and videos. Also, Beth herself is caring for your dog which means you have an expert attending to them and helping them continue to develop healthy traits, rather than someone just keeping an eye on them.
